Quick Look: Go Ballistics Firearms BCG

Recently our friends over at Go Ballistics Firearms asked if we would take a look at the BCG they have, and since we never pass up the opportunity to check out guns, gear, or parts we jumped on the opportunity.

When I first removed the BCG from the shipping box I was impressed at how clean it was. The finish looks great and I couldn't find any defects when I checked it over. Needless to say it was one of the nicer parekerized BCG's I have come across (I have seen some really bad ones before.). 

The staking on the gas key looks great. Those screws won't move for sure.

The Bolt is MPI inspected and marked showing that it has been done.

We are looking forward to running this bolt for a few trips out to the range and seeing how well it performs, which I am sure it will do great since all of the specs for it are top notch (see below). Make sure to check back for updates.

Bolt Carrier Group Specs: 

Parkerized exterior 

Hard chrome lined inside carrier 

Machined to USGI specifications under MIL-STD-171F  

Include the proper Mil-Spec hard chrome lined and heat treated gas key per GI specs  

Gas key secured to carrier via USGI domestic mfg Grade 8 fasteners & staked per Mil-Specs

Carrier is Aircraft Quality 8620 bar stock

Bolt is Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158 Steel

MPI marked and individually inspected (Magnetic Particle Inspected)
